Fish Game PCB Troubleshooting Guide: Common Problems and Solutions

When a fish game machine has sound but no picture, keeps restarting, or one player position stops responding, many buyers immediately suspect the PCB board. Sometimes the board is the problem, but in real repair work, it is not always the first part that should be replaced.

A weak power supply, loose wiring harness, bad video cable, wrong I/O connection, payment signal error, or software setting can create very similar symptoms. Start with Power, Signal, and Wiring

Before judging the PCB as faulty, check the basic path first: power, signal, and connectors.

If the machine freezes or restarts after running for a while, look at the power supply load, cooling fan, cabinet heat, and wiring connection. If the screen shows no signal, check the monitor input and display cable before replacing the board. If only one player position fails, trace that player’s button wiring, joystick wiring, and I/O connector first.

Game freezes or restarts: this is not always a software issue. In busy game rooms, machines run for long hours, and problems may appear only after the cabinet becomes warm or several players are using the machine at the same time. Check power load, fan operation, PCB fixing, and wiring contact.

One player position does not respond: do not rush to blame the main PCB. Check the button switch, joystick wiring, connector plug, player harness, and I/O signal first. On 6-player, 8-player, and 10-player fish game machines, one loose signal line can stop a single position from working.

A PCB board should be handled like an electronic part, not a cabinet part. Static electricity, moisture, rough plugging, poor packing, and direct contact with components can cause visible or hidden damage.
